Craftsmanship

MAKING BEAUTIFUL OBJECTS BY HAND

Craftsmanship and custom are two of the most misused terms in the remodeling industry although they do depend on each other.

At BWS, “custom” does not mean selecting one of a dozen bathroom vanities at a big box store.  And certainly “craftsmanship” does not mean taking a factory built vanity out of a box.  What custom means to us is understanding the client's budget, tastes and desires and then hand selecting wood, stone, hardware, etc. that fit those requirements.  It's then that the craftsmen on staff fabricate and install a beautiful one-of-a-kind piece that’s uniquely your own.  If that level of custom installation doesn’t fit your budget it's then we scour all the vendors we need to find the piece that works for you.

Craftsmanship is the goal of a skilled tradesman, not the eventuality.   It takes many years of dedicated work in the field to achieve the highest level of  touch and finesse that a true craftsman employs.
